How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances, including optional advertising measurement when you give permission:
Service Providers
We may share information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting providers, payment processors, analytics services, and email service providers.
Optional App Advertising Measurement
With your permission, Nemonic uses Meta and TikTok to measure how advertising leads to app use and purchases. Depending on your device and permissions, this may involve device advertising identifiers, app-instance identifiers, account identifiers, IP addresses, device and app details (such as model, operating system, app version and language), event timestamps, and SDK diagnostics. Events include app activation, account creation, onboarding completion, paywall views, and confirmed trials, subscriptions, renewals and purchases, including product, value and currency. RevenueCat processes purchases and forwards eligible purchase events to Meta. We do not include your learning topics, prompts, uploaded content or generated lessons in advertising events.
Advertising providers may combine these events and identifiers with information from other apps and websites to measure, improve and personalize advertising. Their processing may also support security, research and product development. Provider uses, retention and privacy choices are described in the Meta Privacy Policy, TikTok Privacy Policy (including applicable regional terms), and RevenueCat Privacy Policy. TikTok’s Business Products Data Terms describe retention of Event Data for a maximum of 18 months, subject to the terms and applicable jurisdiction. Other providers apply their own retention rules; withdrawing permission does not automatically delete their existing records.
Advertising data sharing is available only to adults aged 18 or older. It is optional, and declining it does not prevent you from using or purchasing Nemonic. In app versions that offer advertising measurement, you can change your choice in Profile. On iOS, you can also review tracking permission in Settings. Identifiable advertising measurement requires your permission, including Apple’s tracking authorization on iOS. We record the notice version and acceptance time with your choice. Apple may separately provide privacy-preserving aggregate attribution without identifying you.
Turning advertising sharing off stops new advertising-event collection on that device. Changes to server-side purchase-event delivery take effect when the updated choice reaches our services; this can be delayed while your device is offline. Turning it off does not erase events already delivered. Contact privacy@kmlabs.com to request deletion or exercise other applicable privacy rights.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, regular security assessments, and access controls.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
